Ed,

That is a good question, and one I would like to hear from members about.
I have a 2007 Z0K which I drive to the track and run very hard all day.
With only 50K on the car i'm sure I'll have no trouble in the short term, though I'm more concerned about the long run.

I'm guessing we could look at the reliability of the Cruze and other cars that utilize this same engine family, as a start.

Be well,
Ron

I have a 2007 Saturn SKY Redline 2.0 L turbo engine. 75K miles. Have owned it for 5 years..only had 11K when I bought it. Was in mint shape.. Have had no engine or Turbo issues but several other components have failed. Had to replace cooling fan at 60K, water pump at 55K, A/C compressor at 58K, and most recently the starter at 74K. And I run this car very easy, most miles were highway miles to work and back. No way should these components have failed. Car is garaged 100% when I am home. Not pleased with all these failures. Have never had a car with this many issues under 100K
