Some may remember "POOR ALFY" who I rescued from an insurance auction. Alfy is a ruining and driving happy chap these days. The picture with the young lady on my arm is my grand daughter who just returned from a ride around the neighborhood in Alfy as diid my other family members who were here for my 91st birthday. Fun by all. Even got chased by a big fuzzy sheep dog.

Remind that misdirected son of yours that Dr. Porsche and Cecil Kimber were friends. Before the war Dr. Porsche would get his candles from MG because the German spark plugs werent up to snuff. Your spaghetti cars are beautiful!

Hi Pat Thanks for the comment. Raced Porsches and found them very reliable and still have my old race car that my son races from time to time. But MG's will always have a soft spot as they were my first . Sorry about my son , but he was contaminated by going to a Liberal school.

Beautiful work! Happy that you saved this car. Sad that todays high cost of restoration exceeds the sale value of these T series cars. Wondering if you were able to discover the source of the fire? I think the old lacquered cotton wiring harnesses have burned down a lot of these cars. Kinda like the German cloth wrapped fuel hose that killed many a car. Safety Fast!

Hi Pat Thanks for the comment. Have not found the cause or where it happened, as it was sold by the Dr.'s wife ,in Wisconsin, to a dealer in Florida after he died. There was melted plastic on the bonnet and front wings as though something from above dropped molten plastic on it. Maybe parked under another car on a lift. ???? There was also a burned out trickle charger near the burned battery area. ??? Yes expensive to do , but it is kind of a tribute to the sport/ hobby that I love. cheers pat thanks.
