As I am waiting for the cylinder head to return from the machine shop next week so I decided to tidy up a few things under the bonnet. I
sprayed the motor and everything else with a super cleaner that we use in my workshop and now everything looks clean even with a bit of age showing. Next was the wiring along the front behind the grill. Most of the original web cover had long gone so I have taped it up until I find where I can get some webbing wrap.
I like the look as Lil Blue is still original and this helps keep it that way.
As I have entered the vintage car club international rally in January which is a week long with my son as navigator this time spent checking and touching up little things is well spent and keeps the car in good working order.
Keep safe out there
