“Red”
This is my driver, a car that makes me smile. I found this car in Los Angeles and I'm the third owner. The previous owner told me he bought the car in 1982 from the original owner who changed its color from OEW to red. I have rebuilt the engine and added electronic ignition, an alternator, spin off oil filter, 5 speed transmission, low pressure muffler, new radiator, suspension bushings with sway bar addition, and restored the brake system. While the engine was out, I resprayed the engine compartment. In the fall of 2010, I replaced the top and seat cushions, and insulated the interior to reduce heat next summer.
