After eight months, several thousand dollars and of hundreds hours I have finally gotten "Sir Alec" back on the road where he belongs. This car had not seen asphalt in almost forty years when I bought him in December of 2019. I am so happy to have resurrected this classic and love all the thumbs up and nice comments I get wherever I go. He now has just over one thousand miles on the complete mechanical rebuild. I feel blessed to own this car and we will be surpassing the 100,000 mile mark in the next couple of months. I do drive him daily and keep him locked up tight in the garage at night. Best money I ever spent!

He looks amazing! Did he come with the oil cooler? I don't see it in front of the radiator. And why take off the Special plaques? I see them in an earlier picture. I loved mine; had it twelve years, but really needed AC in Texas, and didn't have the money to really keep it up.
