“Ashley”
This is “Ashley”. So named as it was purchased (9/12/20) while historic wildfires tore through much of Oregon and destroyed communities.
The car had only been outside for a few short weeks prior to it be offered for sale and had a coating of soot, but it had been tucked away in a garage since 1986. Owner is 98 years old but had fallen ill and the family decided to let it go. He owned a cabinet shop and worked until he was 92 but a recent stroke has rendered him very fragile. His wife is 92 and they live in the house that he built. I’m honored to bring this car back as he worked too hard and didn’t really get to enjoy it.
