Most beautiful car that I've ever owned. Selling due to garage space.
4 sync. w/ overdrive. 'Imports Category' First Place show winner in 2016 "Run For The Gold" Classic Car Show, sponsored by Sierra-Oakhurst Kiwanis
Originally sold from Visalia Foreign Motors (Ca) to (Harry K) the original owner in 1971.
Original owner kept it for 41 years. I am the fourth owner.
California car it's entire life.
Sold new through a dealer in Visalia in the dry Central Valley.
Then moved to Oakhurst Ca, from where I bought the car locally.
Car is now in Mariposa, CA just south of Yosemite.
Not a spec of rust.
Moto Lita steering wheel
14" UK Minilites, plus a Minilite spare. Original Rostyle wheels are included.
Replacement 18V engine with Weber 32/36 carb went in years before I bought the car in 2018.
I had a later trans put in with Overdrive in 4th gear.
New clutch at that time, 2019.
Aluminum radiator
Pertronix distributor, plus back up Pertronix distro comes with car.
Newer leaf springs
Interior carpet is like new, has dashpad cover.
All door / trunk locks work.
All gauges work.
No stereo. I use a portable bluetooth boombox.
Windshield is clear and free of nicks and pocks.
New braided brake lines.
Newer wiper motor.
New water pump 2024.
Teal blue is the original color, had a respray at some point in it's life.
Car was always garaged.
I am selling it because I do not have enough garage space after buying a new RAV4 daily driver. My wife and I are keeping the 1971 TR6 ( now stored at a different house) as our convertible and keeping the Toyota MR2 as our sport coupe.
