Hi, you certainly got a nice shine on!! I have a very similar 1971 GT that was sourced in US and converted to Right hand drive in Australia. Originally black but then painted a damask red. Recently had fun painting it Burnt Orange. Will try to post a photo,John S (!!!!!)also

Id love to see it a John. The paint perked up quite a bit with the right tools to do the job. I cant imagine doing it the old fashioned way by hand.
