Finished cleaning up the rear brake stuff and got it ready for new parts that are on order.
Moved on to the pedal box removal. Ugh. It wasn’t that long ago that I was doing that to my ‘70. The engineer that designed that setup had to have been a sadist to knowingly inflict undue angst on those that would undertake its removal. Only one screw head was buggered and that got drilled out and the cover came out fairly well. The hard lines however caused a torrent of swear words that echoed throughout the garage. I lost track of how many times that I dropped the flare nut wrench trying to back out the clutch master hard line. The good news is that it is out and the bad news is that I get to do it again to remove the one from the wreck as I’ll be reusing it as it is virtually new.
Brake parts, a new water pump and a new fuel sender will be hopefully be arriving by the time I return from a camping trip next weekend.
