Most days I’m too busy to do more than just a few small tasks. Lately it’s been cleaning parts and priming them. Waiting for them to dry. Painting.
Waiting for them to dry. More painting. More waiting.
Yesterday, I actually got to put some parts back on the engine. Installed the Speedi-Sleeve, viton oil seal and the back plate. Next up is to get the engine mounted up on the engine stand so I can roll it over to remove the pan. Doesn’t sound like much and it isn’t, but a little at a time and eventually it will all be done.
Probably won’t get much done today as I have to get an 11# brisket ready for an overnight smoke session. Celebrating our 2 adult kids birthdays as well as their spouses, all of whom have birthdays in May.
Need to get ready for a 5 day camping trip to the coast next week as well.
First trip since my wife’s surgery so it will be a test of her recovery process.
