My car was deemed a total loss today. I know it wasn’t an award winner but when you put a lot of work into something and only get to enjoy it for a couple months it just sucks. Not sure whether I just let it go and accept the full agreed value payout or claim the car for the salvage value. There are some nice new parts plus some very usable used bits. The entire running gear, HS4’s, brand new pillow dash, split bumpers, doors, glass, boot lid, brake and clutch masters, column cowl, steering wheel.
Just gutted and don’t know what I’m going to do yet.
I know what I’m not going to do. I’m not going to fix it. It just doesn’t add up. By the time I source parts and pay to have it painted, I’ll have an expensive salvage titled car.
