Spent more time yesterday with the rear brakes. Got the resurfaced drums all cleaned up and painted, all cylinders and adjusters installed, new springs and shoes installed. Finished up with the rears this morning. Brake lines hooked up, drums back on and the shoes adjusted so it was time to move to the other end.
Got the pedal box in and plumbed. Pedals are on and tied in to the brake and clutch masters. Hopefully the last time I have to deal with pedal box.
With that done, I got the front end up on jack stands and pulled the front tires to start in on the brakes. First chance to see what the front suspension looks like. Pretty tired but that was expected for sitting so long. Rotors are all rusted up but I have brand new ones that I never got around to installing on the roadster. That was going to be a winter project so they are going on the GT instead. Got the calipers off and haven’t decided whether I’m just going with new ones or pull the ones off of the donor.
